We hire only the best!

Our Team is a group of people we are immensely proud of. Having the right people on ‘our bus’ and in the ‘correct seats’ is a principal we uphold, as are the values of honesty and integrity within our Yachtfinders Group. So let’s meet our team.

  • Gary Erceg

    Managing Director

Managing Director Gary Erceg founded and set up Yachtfinders-Global in 1996. Gary had realised for some time before that there was an extreme shortage of good boats in New Zealand. He was quick to realise that there was a huge gap in the market place to provide the customer with a variety of boats to choose from, with good resale value, and better value for money than those on offer in the NZ market place at that time. As a result he secured agencies for leading boat agencies Beneteau, Azimut-Benetti, Lagoon, Selene and Journey Catamarans.

Gary has had over 25 years in the sales, marketing and boating industry. He has sailed extensively over this time both in New Zealand waters and overseas. He is responsible for Sales Management and the overall governance and management of the Yachtfinders Global group of companies.

  • Debbie Erceg

    HR Manager

Debbie Erceg as HR Manager came with 30 years experience in the sales and marketing arena. Debbie has essential skills in human resource management and personnel areas, important for the smooth running and administration of the Yachtfinders-Global team. Her responsibilities cover human resources, sales support, event management, boat show, and coordination of after sales service.

  • Nick Woodmansey

    Sales Consultant

Nick joined the team after moving to Auckland from South West England. Nick is a keen sailor and has spent many hours racing around the cans in Plymouth Sound and regattas further afield. When not sailing yachts, he is normally found on or in the water, windsurfing, diving or just swimming in the sea, and has recently started kite surfing lessons to add to his repertoire. Nick has a background in corporate finance and so will always find a way to unlock the deal.

  • David Woodley

    Sales Consultant

David Woodley from Picton at Yachtfinders Global’s South Island office comes with over 20 years in the boating industry including 6 years as a skipper in Hawaii, 4 years in Fiji as Base Manager, Sailing Instructor, Cruising Guide author, and an additional 2 years as South Pacific Marketing Manager for The Moorings. He was also the New Zealand correspondent for Sail Magazine in the USA for 7 years as a reviewer of new yachts. David’s ‘pedigree’ is one that we are very proud of and compliments the North Island team perfectly.

  • Graham Watson

    Sales Consultant

Involved in yachting since the age of 11. Came up through the Flying Ant’s, Cherub’s, 16 foot skiffs. Spent 5 years in the R Class eventually winning the National’s in 1982, having built several of these challenging boats. Moved on to 12 foot skiffs and Javelin’s before stepping out of the dinghy’s and into club keelboat racing. Now with 14,000 ocean miles across both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and an enthusiasm for all things boating.
I love talking to people about their boating experiences and aspirations, adding constructively to those critical decisions when making a boat choice.

  • Kristin Hare

    Social Media Manager

With a background in event management and marketing Kristin’s enthusiasm for ‘making a deal happen’ is infectious. As first port of call for the company she does not disappoint. Her ability to co-ordinate processes and people along with the excellent management of all social media applications within the Yachtfinders Global Group is invaluable. Arguably the fittest member of the Yachtfinders Group, Kristin is found ‘pounding the pavements’ as an enthusiastic runner in her spare time!

  • Claudia Pierce

    Logistics & Charter Coodinator

Claudia has taken up the Logistics & Charter Coodinator role which extends across the group of companies; Yachtfinders Global, Latitude Yachting and service company Euroyacht. Claudia has a solid background in boating, skippering and social communications and forms part of the Royal New Zealand Yachts Squadron’s youth programme. Great to be working with you Claudia!

  • Snoopy

It is with great sadness to inform you of the death of our Security Manager who has been a member of the team for the past 18 years.

What can on say about Snoops? A sailor; swimmer; rabbit hunter; frisbee champion; team mascot of tennis, netball, cricket, rugby; ‘chick-puller’; security guard; socialite. Snoops would say ‘I owned Pier 21, Headquarters, Mairangi Bay Beach, Pupuke Golf Course and Possum’s Ladder. I enjoyed chasing a ball - any ball. Of late I lazed in the sun and ‘chewed the fat’ with my family and the staff - who loved me to bits. The sun’s gone down now - I’m hanging up my security hat, rugby ball and my frisbee. C U. Snoops’
