In what is undoubtedly a difficult economic climate the South Island operation managed to achieve some impressive milestones. Among those worthy of noting;

1. Establishing our South Island office on the picturesque Picton foreshore.
2. ‘Voila’ a 2012 Beneteau Oceanis 54, only the second one to be imported into New Zealand, begins commissioning early January to go into charter in the Marlborough Sounds. Her first charter is booked.
3. Selling the first of the new Beneteau Sense models to Wellington clients, to be delivered in Canet en Roussillon, France mid 2012 in time to join the Great Kiwi Mediterranean Flotilla.
4. Successful survey, sea trial and sale in Preveza, Greece of a 54 Jeanneau.
5. Design liaison and sale of the first ‘Selene Kiwi Sedan’ model. A collaborative effort between the owners, the Selene design team and Yachtfinders Global South.
6. Completing two yacht sales to the same client within the past twelve months
7. Transacting the sale of the same boat twice within a 12 month period.
8. Local sponsorship to the Waikawa Boating Club for the Yachtfinders Global Summer Twilight Series.
9. The establishment of Latitude Yacht Charters on the South Island at Picton Marina. This summer operating a 2012 Oceanis 54, Oceanis 40 and a 2011 Robson 40 Sportsfisher.
10. Securing over 20 top quality listings to add to the Yachtfinders Global used boat portfolio.

Whew. All in one year. Certainly worthy of congratulations!
