Congratulations to Gary, Debbie, and the team on 28 years in the boating industry!

We first met Gary 18 years ago while searching for our dream boat. Having just sold our vineyard, we were in the market for a luxurious displacement boat. Despite extensive searching and viewing, we hadn’t found the perfect match until we discovered Yachtfinders Global, who had just become the agency for Selene Trawlers. Finally, we found our ideal boat!
After signing up for a Selene, we travelled to the Jet Tern Factory in China with Gary and other interested parties to observe the complete building process of the Selene Trawler Range. Our first trip to China with Gary was both a learning experience and a lot of fun. We were treated like royalty by both Gary and Jet Tern Marine, who were very accommodating to the changes we wanted on the boat.
We made four trips to the boatyard with Gary while our Selene was under construction. Communication during the year-long build was ongoing and available 24/7. What began as a boat sale with Yachtfinders Global blossomed into a great friendship with Gary and Debbie that continues to this day. Whenever we’re in Auckland, we always pop into the office and are warmly welcomed, even during their busy workdays.
Yachtfinders Global has always been a leader in their field and surviving 28 years in a tough and often unforgiving industry is nothing short of remarkable. Congratulations and well done!
