A Personal Journey Through the Heart of Liguria

Over the years, I have visited Genoa many times to attend the Genoa Boat Show, and each visit enriches my love for this fascinating city. The Genoa Boat Show is a grand event and is one of the most significant in Europe. The atmosphere is electric, filled with the latest innovations in maritime technology and a bustling crowd of enthusiasts and professionals.

Genoa is a city steeped in history and culture. Did you know that the English flag originates there? This little-known fact adds a layer of historical intrigue to the already captivating cityscape. Wandering through its narrow streets, you can feel the weight of centuries on your shoulders, each corner telling a story of its own.

But no visit to Genoa is complete without indulging in its culinary delights. While it’s tough to get bad food in Italy, there is one place that stands out to me above all others: Zeffirino. This restaurant is legendary not only for its exquisite cuisine but also for its famous patron, Frank Sinatra. It’s one of those places where you can taste the passion and tradition in every bite, making it a truly special experience.
Each meal at Zeffirino is a journey through the flavours of Liguria, with both comforting and sophisticated dishes. The ambiance and the exceptional food create an unforgettable dining experience.

I look forward to visiting again to enjoy the blend of maritime marvels, historical exploration, and culinary excellence.
