I’ve been in the boating industry for over 30 years, and during that time we’ve come through the Asian financial crisis, the GFC, COVID, and now the market we’re in today.

When demand was at its peak after COVID, you were looking at a two-year wait or more for a new boat. We made the call to bring in two stock boats, both outstanding Absolute yachts.

We’ve since sold the Absolute 47 Fly, and the only one left is the Absolute 48 Coupé. To be honest, because we’ve had it for a while, some people probably wonder if there’s something wrong with it

There isn’t.

The boat is in perfect condition and presents exactly as it should. In fact, I genuinely believe it’s one of the best boats available for New Zealand boating. Nothing else in the country gives you this amount of volume, comfort, and usability in a 48-foot package.

For cruising around New Zealand, it’s hard to fault. The layout works, the enclosed cockpit is perfect for our conditions, and the amount of space on board surprises everyone who steps aboard.
