Selene 40 Voyager – Long Range Coastal Cruiser

The Selene 40 Voyager Sedan is a newer design that Selene Yachts has developed based on the original ‘Selene 40 Archer‘ hull with a new superstructure and European, Floridian or Mediterranean flair! The yacht is designed with a single Cummins QSB 230 HP or John Deere 180 HP diesel engine. The two-stateroom layout has a beautiful teak interior and a well-equipped galley. Compared with the Selene 40 Archer, it offers a more spacious saloon, flybridge and engine room. The enlarged fuel tanks of 700 gallons (2650 l) will guarantee a longer cruising range in the Selene 40 Voyager.

Construction

Hull lamination:
Hull lamination schedule per construction plan, the area below the water line ‘Cook’ Gelcoat and vinyl ester resin for the first three (3) layers. Deck lamination schedule per construction plan. Construction plans pertaining to the structure are to be based on standards set by the CE standard.

Engine room floor :

Exterior Details:
1. All horizontal surfaces on the deck to have a diamond pattern nonskid, as shown in the deck plan standard nonskid to be a contrasting colour to the parameter deck
2. Stainless 316 handrails 1-1/4″OD with electro-polished bases. All rails showed on drawings to be standard in addition to those specified
3. S/S 316 Hawse fittings with rollers:

5. Upper rub rail cap to be 316 stainless steel 1/4″ fastened with flush 316 stainless steel fasteners.
6. Stainless steel caps on upper and lower rub rails, as shown in the design.
